For a long time, Icelandic society has been homogeneous and dominated by a white population with a Norwegian and Irish heritage. However, within recent decades, Iceland has seen a rapid growth in demographics with diverse cultural backgrounds. The documentary series educates viewers about the experiences of people of foreign origin living in Iceland and adds a fresh perspective to a discussion that often seems polarized.
